This series of seven colourful woodcuts have in common a vanitas theme reminding viewers of the transience of life. Each woodcut represents a symbol: life and death, sexuality, persistence, spirituality and communication.
A series of knots tye these images together. The knots also convey the artist's attachment to her chosen symbols.
