A series of computer generated works

Origines are computer-generated artworks that speak about appropriation and inspiration. The images have been created incorporating works by Paul Klee; a knot ties the origin of the inspiration and the newly created artwork together. Origines is a reflection on new possibilities I can exploit using computer software. In these works I went down memory lane and examined my early etching in view of what had inspired this production. I brought together the inspiration and the resulting etching and symbolically tied the new image with a knot showing true appropriation.
